Grad Trip FAQ’s
Are Xtreme Graduation trips school sponsored? The graduation trips that Xtreme Trips offers are not school sponsored because they take place after graduation. Although most of Xtreme’s graduation trips are not school sponsored, we maintain great relationships with administration, teachers, and parents who choose to travel with us each year. Are only senior students allowed to go on Grad Trip? No, seniors and their guests are invited to participate in our trips, including parents and faculty. What if I will not be 18 years old during my trip? If you are under 18 at the time of travel, you will need the “Parental letter of Consent for a minor to travel” document, which needs to be signed by both parents and notarized. This must be brought to the airport the day of travel. This form can be found on our website in the trip forms section. What type of documents do I need to bring? If traveling to the Bahamas or Punta Cana, you will need a valid passport. Otherwise, a drivers license or other government issued ID will be accepted. What happens if I get sick or injured? We highly recommend purchasing the travel insurance to cover any unforeseen medical emergencies prior to the trip. While on the trip, our staff will do everything necessary to ensure the safety of all the students. Of course, in the event of an accident, proper medical attention will be administered. Can our rooms be coed? Only with a signed authorization form from your parents, are co-ed rooms allowed. Otherwise, you must room with the same sex. The form can be found on our website. Do I have to decide now? Our trips will sell out and do every year. We encourage you to put a deposit on your first destination choice now to ensure you get on the same trip as your friends. When are final balances due? April 15th, 2010 What happens after I turn in or mail a deposit? All deposits get entered into Xtreme’s online database at Xtreme’s corporate office in Fort Lauderdale, FL. After your information is entered into Xtreme’s online database, an automated receipt, login and password is emailed directly to you. This is why you must provide YOUR OWN e-mail address on the registration form. Students will be able to log into their XtremeTripsHS.com online account 24/7 by using their email address and password. Are deposits refundable, reusable, or transferable? All deposits and payments are non-refundable but can easily be transferred as stated in our cancellation policy located on the back of the flyer.
